It's a very special time.
Diwali is celebrated by Sikhs, Hindu's and and Jains all over the world. In India the auspicious day is so extravagant with light shows to match, that you can literally see the celebrations via satellite.

At Bharat Bazar we constantly aim reinvent and reimagine how the cooking process of Indian cuisine can be more efficient and enjoyable.
Today we are proud to announce our newest brand - SOMA KITCHEN!
The Inspiration for the name came about because one of the owners lives in the South of Market District in San Francisco, CA or more aptly called SOMA by locals.
Speaking of San Francisco and Silicon Valley, much of what happens with technology dictates in the manner in which we experience commerce. We understand this and want to accommodate the needs of every kind of customer.
In our fast paced world, we know that many are strapped for time. For the majority, gone are the days of painstakingly grinding spices and putting them into big canisters and then into Masala Dabba's.
We wanted to offer our customers an alternative while retaining exceptional quality. It took us a few months of diligent design work and searching for the right supplier with quality products to bring SOMA KITCHEN to inception.
We have two sizes - a 16oz (454g) and a 3.5oz (100g)
Currently we carry:
- Dhania Jeeru (Coriander)
- Red Chilli
- Garam Masala
- Ground Amchur
- Ground Paprika
- Hot Curry Powder
- Ground Turmeric
- Whole Fennel Seeds
Come visit us and try them and just in case you need a little inspiration, below are a few dishes that we made for you.
