Unboxing and Demo of the Dosa Maker!
For those not in the know, Dosa is an Indian style crepe made from fermented rice and black gram which is a type of bean indigenous to the South. With regards to the historical data outlining the birth of Dosa, this can be left to conjecture, but many historians site evidence of Dosa being used as early as 1000 AD in Sri Lanka.
When India gained independence in 1947, Dosa traveled to all parts of the Indian Subcontinent and became popular in the North. Today, it’s a beloved dish of many as it has crossed international boundaries and a has become a favorite of many.
Today we wanted to share a video of the Dosa Maker. Now I’ll be honest I was a little skeptical when first trying this contraption, but after my first Dosa I was an advocate and fan of this incredible piece of cooking technology. Not only was it easy to make, but it was restaurant quality. I would highly recommend this! For more videos and recipes, please check out Dosa Maker!
